Most installations take one to three working days to complete. However, since your roof is exposed to the elements, some replacements may take longer due to the weather. Roofs with more details call for more attention.
For most instances no, but if you feel more comfortable the decision is completely up to you. We love it if you can be home, but roof replacements are noisy, make sure to account for sounds of construction if you work from home.
